OC San General Manager Rob Thompson was recently featured in Filtration & Separation magazine. The article, “Breaking Forever Bonds,” highlights several emerging methods for destroying per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS), including OC San’s innovative Supercritical Water Oxidation project.

In partnership with 374Water, this project will address PFAS contamination in biosolids by using water at high temperature and pressure to oxidize complex compound materials into basic and benign compounds.
